The Performers
Bassnectar (Bassnectar.net/Lorin):
For the last decade, Lorin Ashton has helped develop the North American underground dance music scene. From touring full time as a DJ (an average of 125 shows per year), to his production & remixing under the alias Bassnectar, he has ammassed a dedicated fan base. His shows are a tweaking bumping mix of hip hop to breakbeat to ragga/dub and everything else works with that whomping bass. Honored in the SF underground and Burning Man scenes as the undisputed "King of the Freaks" as well as being voted the #1 DJ in the Bay Area in the prestigious "Nitevibe.com Dreamteam" poll.

Soulsalaam (Hypnomadic/Future Juju/Soulsalaam.com):
This uber talented DJ, producer and percussionist has thrilled audiences from the Bay to Brazil with his future-world breaks, and live conga beats. Able to create, play the freshest African, Brazillian and Latin styles, then augment them with live percussion, Soulsalaam always pushes a dancelub over the edge.

El Papachango (El Circo):
Best known for mashing Latin beats and breakbeat house at the performance-art drenched El Circo events. His musical presence makes any event special.

Motion Potion (The Mutaytor, The Fringe):
"the Swiss army DJ" is best known for his embrace of the local funk scene, but recently has been seen performing live with Parliament-Funkadelic and the Mutaytor. His mix of everything funky always rocks the party to another level.

Jayo & Kevin Wardell (Cheeky/Vision):
This Duo rocks Latin house in an amazing mix of DJ and live percussion.

DJ Vanka (Misturada):
No one has explored the future of latin music in the Bay Area more than DJ Vanka whose long-running Thursday night Misturada party is a fixture in the local world music scene.

DJ Sep (Dub Mission/KPFA)
A woman capable of breaking new artists singlehandedly through her Dub Mission party and her KPFA radio show "Off the Beaten Path"

Mozaic (Moontribe,Raindance):
Mozaic has built a massive buzz with his killer tech-hop styles and work with Santa Cruz's "Moontribe" and "Raindance" crews. His talents has blessed many outstanding events from the high profile Get Freaky parties at 1015 Folsom to underground events in the forest.

Mycho Cocoa (The Fringe):
Mycho has garnered a superb reputation as a top beatslinger in styles as diverse as Arabic breaks, and soulful house.

Victor Vega (The Fringe):
Like the rest of the Fringe DJ's this DJ's taste run the gamut, but the NYC native is best known for his superior mixing skills with Latin house and breakbeats.

Big Dolla Bill (The Fringe):
Is an old school hip hop crusader trying to bring underground hip hop back to underground party. His mix of old school hip hop, rock, pop and mash-ups is freakishly fun.

Kaia (The Fringe): Beginning with homegrown imagery, Kaia has evolved her visual VJ palette to beautiful excellence, gracing events for Sound Sector 9, Anon Salon, Moontribe, Traveling Corn, and other underground productions.

The Fringe is an arts collective of folks dedicated to pushing evolutionary entertainment on an unsuspecting public. Proceeds from this event will go to benefit bringing live and evolutionary entertainment to Burning Man 2006 and beyond. For more info go to www.fringecamp.com or thefringe.tribe.net
