Fresh off the boat
Fresh off the boat
Hi! I just moved to the U.S. from Malaysia with my wife (who is from Utah...and no, she is not a missionary, she does not have horns, and she is my only wife). I keep hearing so much about Burning Man from all of her friends, but have never seen anything like this before in my life. I already start preparing for my visit to Burning Man. I found some really great battery operated LED colored lights that can be put into costumes...They're so cool! You can do anything with them. I got married underwater, scuba diving in Utah, out in the middle of the desert in a salt water hot spring with tropical fish and nurse sharks (Bonneville Seabase). We even used the submersible floralytes all over our underwater arch. With the party in the desert night maybe you like my idea for lighted costumes and lighted martini glasses. Anyway, I'm really excited to meet you all this summer.
Whatever's clever.

Hi and welcome! Howdy from another Utahn. I too am not a missionary, am an only wife, and I had my horns removed at a very eraly age.
You do realize Seabase is home of the Utah burn, Element 11? Held very soon? As in the first week-end in June ... so excited, I've been working my shaman vest-coat all day. Sadly, it does not light up.
Of course rouding everyone up for a parade on playa-time with playa-brain could well be like hearding cats, beautiful, terrifying and well worth it.
