Gospel Choir needs singers for Sunday Playa service

Hey, it's Maldita from the Spirit Room...

so, this year, I've chosen to not book bands for the Spirit Room, but instead continue with the Gospel Choir and our Sunday morning service.

I have started this project here in San Francisco, teamed up with SF's one and only Frankie Boissey from Pink and started the Pink Ensemble. We perform live gospel house music, hot singers, hot beats, with a spiritually uplifting vibe.

One night, while falling asleep, while school finals were almost over and could just begin to see the playa on the horizon, I had a vision.

Last years gospel choir rocked, I met the most beautiful people and God, could they sing. This year, I will still do some unaccompained vocal music, but some of it will be with our resident DJ from Pink, Frankie and right hand man, Kwamey.

SOOOO...if you sang last year, and want to sing again, look for the post on the calendar. Rehearsals, same time, not sure where yet, keep posted for details. WE NEED SINGERS!!! INSTUMENTALISTS, DRUMMERS, HELL, WHY NOT A CELEBRANT WHILE WERE AT IT??

we will be lifted up by the spirit of the music and the playa...

Oh, and the sermon this year came to me as I left the playa last year, I can't wait to share it...
