KNOW OF ANY PLACE TO RENT IN SAN FRANCISCO?

I just got back from my first Burning Man and was so impressed by the community of generous and amazing people. Of course, a lot of them are from San Francisco, which is where my mom just moved. She has been trying to get a new apartment in the city, because she loves it, but she has been discouraged by reports of unethical, corrupt Mafia-like landlords, and is seeking a way to stay in the city.

Does anyone know of any good places to rent, even a room in a house? Any help at all would be appreciated. Thanks burners!

have you checked craigslist?

stay away from the tenderloin.

check out oakland as well. the lake merritt area is the best and it's only 15 minutes to SF.
I want to know if you can be with joy - mine or your own - if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes - without cautioning us to be careful; be realistic; remember the limitations of being human.
