Shower floor material?

Post by Dork » Wed Sep 06, 2006 10:15 am

This year for the floor of my shower I used that rubbery stuff you use to line kitchen shelves with. It was cheap and seemed to provide good traction, but it quickly loaded up with soap and became a skating rink.

Any suggestions for something that will allow water to flow off and provide secure footing through 50+ playa showers? Should I give in and pick up an actual shower pan?

For future reference, get some of that white plastic grating that they used to put over fluorescent lighting fixtures and drop that bad boy in the dust. Then put something over it like astro-turf.
