Brass, Percussion, Guard - Sr. Drum Corps (Sacramento)
River City Regiment Sr. Drum and Bugle Corps

Our mission

Our mission is to create a community service organization to help promote the drum corps activity throughout the Sacramento region and beyond. The goal is to form an ensemble that will be known and respected throughout the area as being a quality musical and visual ensemble that strives towards and achieves excellence.

Quality and excellence will be the key words for our success, as we strive to do everything the best that we can do. As this is a new ensemble, it will take time to achieve all of our goals. Our goals will be achieved only through dedication, commitment and hard work by individuals such as you. We have confidence that together, we can produce something that we are all very proud of, and will be proud of for years to come.

2007 Show Information

The River City Regiment
Proudly Presents our 2007 Production:

Scream Machine!
Scream Machine (Mark Taylor)
It's Alright By Me (Cole Porter)
Conquistador ( Jay Chattaway and Maynard Ferguson)
Free (Robert Lamm/Chicago)
Paint It Sad (Bill Chase)

So who is eligible to join?

We welcome all brass, percussion, and color guard members who are at least 18 years old to join. (We may, however, consider membership for younger performers who are interested). Previous experience in a similar organization is helpful, but not required. We will likely have some people fresh out of a junior corps, some who haven't touched a horn (or drum or flag) in years, and even some wind players wishing to try something new. There are currently no audition requirements to join River City Regiment. All we ask for is people who want to work towards a common goal, and who are dedicated to achieving the highest possible quality.

So what Junior Corp were you in, if you were?

I used to be in the Garfield Cadets then migrated to the Muchacho's.
