Thread Drift Thread

Post by Don Muerto » Mon Oct 13, 2003 8:04 am

Since some folks get a kink in their colon when the inevitable thread drift happens, I thought I would come right out and create a thread where it is not only allowed but encouraged.

Anybody here like bananas?

Yes, well we knew THAT.

What I really want to talk about is furniture restoration. Any strippers here?

Funny you should mention that. My iguana Spanky does the cutest thing when you scratch his belly....

Ahh, stripping, and perfect timing too. What works best on stripping old cabinets? A hot air gun, "sandpaper", or chemical strippers?

I'm sure this is not the thread drift you had in mind...and what's wrong with bananas? What's strange is the people who don't like tomatoes yet pile on the ketchup with their fries.

(Nothing like thread drift and a topic split to tick off people!)

I hope you know that this will go down on your permanent record
Oh yeah well don't get so distressed
Did I happen to mention that I'm impressed
I take one one one 'cause you left me
And two two two for my family
And 3 3 3 for my heartache
And 4 4 4 for my headaches
And 5 5 5 for my lonely
And 6 6 6 for my sorrow
And 7 7 7 for no tomorrow
And 8 8 8 I forget what 8 was for
And 9 9 9 for a lost god
And 10 10 10 for everything everything everything everything

I love that Violent Femmes album, -its damn near perfect. It was definitely a soundtrack for a certain pent-up, angsty, lachrymose but hyper mood I would get when I was a teen.

I wonder how I could describe the mood I had when I would put my Dokken albums on repeat...

What, you don't like my red x? I thought it was a pretty cool avatar...

Damn, back to the drawing board.

Sheesh, people on this board are so damned critical...

I think in general they're probably intelligent people who decide that since their computer programming skills are minimal, wasting more than an hour trying to make this bbs work right is not a profitable endeavor...

That's all well and good, but are you a cat person or a dog person?

I just found out that my turkey story got a mention in Beth Lisick's column. Now that I'm famous, I think I'll start sleeping with supermodels.

Last time I slept with a supermodel, I had turkey before hand and fell asleep on her bony hip.

Turkey makes me sleepy, how about you?

You had a turkey, then fell asleep on her hip?

Seriously. Bestiality is so 1998.

It's all about S&M and floggings now. The farm supply houses have great S&M implements that now come in assorted colors!
