Coming up sooner than you may think is AuraMan weekend (July 28-29). This is the last of your monthly AuraMan Updates. Please be sure and email me if you plan to attend. Let me know which days you will arrive and leave, if you need tent space on the beach, and if you need beach space for art or a music or video stage. AuraMan, a participatory event, means you !! Bring out your inner freak at the Freak Parade. Search for things you never thought you’d find at Sun Aura in the Scavenger Hunt. (We are a weird and astonishing bunch of campers, ya know?). Create that piece of art that’s been spinning around in your head. Clear out those chakras and clean up that aura in our Relaxation Station. Be a Lounge Lizard; (definition -- (lounge lizard n. Slang 1. A generally idle man who haunts establishments or gatherings frequented by the rich or fashionable; a social parasite. 2. a man who idles about in the lounges of hotels and bars in search of women who would support him).) Okay, so it’s just a punchbowl of Hurricane and cheesy music from the likes of Mel Torme, Dean Martin, Ethel Merman, Frank Sinatra, and others; but it IS the place to be, to see and be seen. Wear your flamboyant best !!!
