Painting Vinyl Billboard?

I am trying to find a way to paint the vinyl billboard that I got and not have flake off or do other weird things under the conditions of the playa.

Has anyone attempted this? Any paint recommendations?

Try a test patch with plastic primer and then paint, (clear primer for plastics is available at all bigbox hware stores) or use Fusion line of paints-for-plastics...But test first, including crinkle and stretch testing. The billboard companies use thermal inks designed for stability, so perhaps with a little extra time and effort you can create a collaged surface that'd suffice- My friend Martiansky's billboard-dome had WWF wrestlers on it, so the interior was all flesh and tattoos!

SEM vinyl and plastic coat
makes a good flexible spray paint for painting vinyl/plastics.
I have used it on vinyl and acrylic plastics...very tough and resilient.
Usually used for auto interiors and trim, it might work well for your application if you can find the colors you need and can use a spray medium. Available at most auto paint outlets...
