L.A. Fabric Stores?

Howdy All,

Is there a fabric store in L.A. that you recommend? I want to cover a rickshaw in something fuzzy and fabulous.

Go wander around the LA garment district, you will surely find something inexpensive and totally awesome. Here's the website with a map : http://www.fashiondistrict.org/

If you think it's too expensive, it probably is. Walk away and someone will chase you to negotiate, or you can find it elsewhere. I remember seeing a lot of fur around 9th and Maple ( I think ). I usually go on sundays and can find free street parking if I go earlier than everyone opens, and I can go to the shops which open early. I try to make it out by 11 or 12 before it gets busy :P

They are one store from the corner of 9th & Maple. Burner friendly and they have THE best selection of fur anywhere downtown. Be careful when you are down there. The colors and textures may overwhelm you into spending thousands of dollars, hocking your car, putting a second mortgage on your house, selling your loved ones into slavery and peddling your ass on the street.

I know, I was once fur crazy. I couldn't get enough of the bright fuzzy stuff. Now I design first, calculate my yardage and leave most of my money in the car.

Is the name of the store. One store front west of Maple, on 9th, on the south side of the street. Wonderful folks, wonderful furs. (Thanks GwenJester for turning me on to them!)
