After a total eclipse, double rainbow, two Man burns, and twice the usual dust in Black ROCK City, you'd expect Decom and Black TOP City to be TWICE as spectacular this year – and it is looking that way! Here is everything you need to know about our 8th Annual SF Decompression Heat the Street Faire. From survival tips to stage schedules, there is a LOT – so prepare your mind and body, then come at noon SHARP because missing an hour would be like sleeping 24 on the playa!

The List of Who's Coming Will Fire You Up...

------------------------------------------
All six blocks, the park, and all stage schedules will be PACKED like never before with a gazillion art installations, theme camps, DJs, performers, mutant vehicles, circus acts, bands, and all the creative expression that is US! We still have room for a bit more non-fire ART! ...especially to hang on the fences - email flambé@burningman.com to register. Sorry, no more sound art, sound theme camps, DJs or bands. We're full up!

For our full WhenWhoWhatWhere with stage schedules plus lists of confirmed art, theme camps, mutant vehicles, and other radical participation, click the "PERFORMANCE SCHEDULES" link at www.burningman.com/special_events.

Prepare To Leave a Positive Trace On The Place, Yourself, and Others!
---------------------------------------------------------------------
This is our 8th year at this awesome location, and we must annually earn the right to come back by respecting the neighborhood. PLEASE review our online Survival Guide by clicking the "DECOMandments" link on the event page, and follow them so we can honor our neighbors and permits and do it again! Also hit that link for info on parking/transportation, event logistics, LEAVE NO TRACE, and post-event park clean-up!

Ten Thousand Ways To Participate!
---------------------------------
We invite you to fully participate with the community in creating a magical experience for us all that will last everyone through the long winter!

- We need more volunteers! Many fun and important volunteer roles to fill in the next few days. Help the Decom volunteer production team pull off this community extravaganza. E-mail firekitty@burningman.com TODAY!

- Pack a family picnic to stay all day and into the night.

- Create TRASHion couture or fanciful fluff to wear in the People's Fashion Show. And pack a light jacket for night.

- Share your eco-expertise at the "Ask the Expert/Be the Expert" booth in the Green Man Pavilion – and let the people do the talking!

- Bring photos and stories to share with passers-by.

- Pack extra make-up for clowns-in-waiting and little people of all sizes wanting face painting.

- Bring art to gift!

- Join the Critical Stilts Parade to look down on it all!

Or find your own large or small way to express that creative fire inside you!!! Just don't bring fire art, vehicles, theme camps, or sound systems unless you've registered at flambélounge@burningman.com and been confirmed. (Note: No more fire or sound slots open this year)

Together, we will heat the street! Some of this year's amazing fuel is listed below, with apologies to anyone lost in the chaos:

So are the eplayers planning on getting together at any time/place for me to miss yet again?
It's hard to have a normal conversation with someone with 6' acrylic rods strapped to your back.

Thanks Arthurz, and to every one of the Elves that make this happen. Killbuck and I are looking forward to bringing The Unfortunate Monkey Experience for one last ride with you... IN SPACE!

I'm looking forward to interacting with so much art and peeps I missed on the playa. Be sure and hit us up at the Apokiliptika/Labwërks mini-camp for some Tang and a Space Food Stick.
