In Downtown NYC, in a neighborhood where it is halloween everyday, we are building a new Halloween Festival that will grow into a grand NY institution with your help. Flyer link:

In the spirit of the NYC Halloween Parade, the FIGMENT Arts Festival and Burning Man, TScP is a participatory arts festival but with a Halloweeny edge. From 12noon til 8pm+ on the Saturday before Halloween (heavy rain date Sunday), there will be a full day of interactive activities, halloween-themed art, a kids trick-or-treat trail, costume giveaways, bands, drumming, dancing, hooping and other forms of semi-organized mayhem. At 1pm will be the kids Million Superhero March, at 3pm the Zombie Olympics and, as darkness falls, we haunt the park with multimedia light shows, spooky sound effects and NY’s most colorful people as they stop by before the going out on one of the biggest party nights of the year. Launched in 2006 by the non-profit association Action Arts League, this event is a grand collaboration between NYC area artists, downtown community based organizations, the NY Burning Man community and a full variety of Halloween Enthusiasts... In addition, this year we launch a new activism oriented kids program called “Healthy Halloweenâ€
