But the doodle tradition started here before I did. The first doodle was produced by (who else?) Larry and Sergey, who, when they attended the Burning Man festival in summer 1999, put a little stick figure on the home page logo in case the site crashed and someone wanted to know why nobody was answering the phone

did Google ever do another BM doodle after 99? Wold be pretty cool for everyone to see the Mandoodle during Burning Man this year, but probably would add another 10,000 attendees.

They have had one other that I have seen.

And they have been posting the mandoodle each year ever since the first one.
