to not forget the indian wiggle (the shake of the head in a left to right movement, done with a big smile) which meaning is always unsure, can be yes, can be no. But at least there is a smile involved. And it tells stressed out westerners demanding a clear answer: take it easy!
But i prefer non polluting rickshaws (the pulled ones) or cycle rickshaws!

Depending on what you mean by 'real' Indian...Ugly Dougly wrote:Any real Indians on the playa?
I've camped with an asian Indian fellow each and every of my 7 burns - he and I started our own theme camp last year inside Silicon Village.
Another Indian friend of his got married on the playa last year, 'traditional-ish' Hindu wedding, broadcast on Current TV:

Indian Music
If anyone wants to do any Indian music and can sing or has instruments, give me a shout. (Coming from UK so can't bring my own gear.) I can keep reasonable tal and will bring some manjeeras. Can do a passable tintaal and a few other tals on tabla. Can tune tablas and pakhawaj. Love to learn from pros and share what they have shown me with non-pros.
Classical or make-it-up-yourself pagan variants all in my repertoire.
Anything Indian: music, dance or other stuff - I want to be there.
I'm well out of practice and need get back in gear.
Best
Eric
