Anyone Building a Maze or Labyrinth?
I'm looking for a full sized maze or labyrinth. I have a group of Very Large Mice that would like to speak with you.

There was a really great one at Transformus last year.
It was also very compact 25 by 25, I think.
I think the Flaming Bitches did it, out of atlanta.
They decided not to bring it to burning man.
Maybe they will give you a blueprint?

It would be a shame if I had to resort to self-deception to preserve my faith in objective reality.

It's called Black Rock City...If you found it once in the daylight, you can never find it at night (except the man)brigitgoddess wrote:I'm looking for a full sized maze or labyrinth. I have a group of Very Large Mice that would like to speak with you.
Kinda like "Hotel California"

There is/has been a person sized maze at BM (for as long as I can remember): The "keyhole" shortened arc streets behind Center Camp. Not a year goes by that I leave to go pee and the streets magically shoot me 8 blocks away, so it takes me twice as long (if ever
) to find my way back to Center. I know they are probably simple to figure out, BUT damn...

Labyrinth
Are you really looking for a labyrinth? I painted one ona 40ftx40ft round
piece of army green canvas. It weighs 150bs. I would bring it to the
playa but I don't want it to get muddy as the weight would be impossible
to haul back to town. Are you planning on using it indoors in a covered
space?
Could fit human-sized mice easily....my design has a Celtic feel to it.

thanks for the props. Me and my friends, the Fiery Bitches of ATL, made it out of lots of red sheets and bamboo and string. You wore wireless headphones with womb sounds as you navigated it, until you found the giant button by the exit, which made bright lights go off and flame effects on the corners pop. boom! it had a few (2 or 3?) dead ends, all in small square footprint.
a blueprint, though? HAHAHAHAHA. Such a thing is not of this world. So...we had it all planned out, had stictched all the sheets the right lengths etc....then lost the blueprint upon arrival at TFUS. so made another plan...which disappeared yet again during construction. and then we just started putting up poles and hanging sheets and made it work. Third time is the charm. Then all bamboo was hucked in the Sunday burn, with no intent on it ever being playa-bound.
best maze ever: trying to get to the top of the man in 2005's Psyche Funhouse at 2 am. holy shit! You giant mice woulda had a time in there...

Re: TFUS maze
The Psyche Funhouse fucking rocked, especially at night, early in the week when it wasn't balls-to-the-wall packed.greenmonk wrote: best maze ever: trying to get to the top of the man in 2005's Psyche Funhouse at 2 am. holy shit! You giant mice woulda had a time in there...
The Mars maze in 2004 was a piece of work, too. I saw a couple of people go nonlinear and freak out in it. Fun, and it felt dangerous.
