Compost

I am from the Boston group (Boston, MA) and we're very interested in reducing our trash - by composting what we can.

Last year I understand there were some camps that brought compost material back to San Francisco.

Does anyone have any information about composting (either in Reno, surrounding towns, or even San Fran again)?

I appreciate any information you have.
