WHERE CAN I BUY MULTI COLOURED (bubble type) FUR

Post by jammin » Thu Sep 04, 2008 3:09 pm

This year was my third year at burning man and i see some of the most amazing furs ever. I saw art cars covered in a bobble type of muli coloyred furs. Some were like purple and white others were just funky coloured! ANyway ifsomeone knows where to buy jackets or knows where to buy the mateials i would love to know!

Looking at spending 100-150 on a jacket for next year!

I've never ordered from them, so I don't know how good the prices or customer service is.

aw, ya'll are so nice :) i was so having fun being a snarky batch, but really it's not very helpful, huh. I actually have found some banging fur at boring fabric stores like Joannes and the like. no, rilly!

but you, you're in NYC? get your ass down to the fabric district. or try the places in Chinatown, there are some great, cheap fabric stores there. you can get real, commercial grade fabric on the cheap. I know they have leather, pleather and all things upholstrey and decorator stylee, they must have fur too I bet...

I've had good luck with distinctive Fabrics dot Com. Be sure to check out remnants for some odd fabrics and good deals.

I'm sure you should be able to find it in NYC though.

Don't worry. If that happens, you won't be able to afford to come to the playa anyway.
