2009 will be my first time at BM.
I have a very small travel trailer.
How big is a "campsite"?
Is each address a certain size?
I can't find anything specific on this.
I'll be on my own and not a member of a camp.

That’s correct. With the exception of theme camps, which are clearly noted on the map and usually marked off with tape or something similar, its wide open space. You can’t camp in the roads, which are easy to see, but otherwise, it’s pitch where you want. Stop and talk to the folks who may already be setting up. If you worry that the space might be taken, ask anyway. In 07 we had people who showed up with little travel trailer and asked if they could squeeze in. They wound out turning into really good friends and great playa neighbors.

Hello issimo! All correct, and here an opinion: Depending on level of immediate interaction, there's a couple choices. If you want lot's of passerby's, then camp on a corner (intersection) of a street. What we usually do is camp towards the middle of the block, that way you have neighbor's/buddies all around you
Or can camp on the outer arc streets for relative quietness at night or communicate with a desired Theme Camp asking for open membership. Love it---become it. Plus, wherever you park your rig !**POOF**!...there's your campsite
