McPALIN- Merchants of Sleaze, but for serious now

Post by gyre » Mon Oct 06, 2008 4:29 pm

According to the right wing media, Karl Rove has scripted the new approach for Palin and McCain- sleaze it up so much voters don't vote.
Anything to make people forget the economy.
They have decided they cannot win if they campaign on issues, so the sleaze will be turned up with Palin as the attack puppy.
Anyone they can't gull, may stay home.
They don't think they have anything to lose now.

The other day McCain said this isn't a time to place blame and then spent five minutes talking about Obama.
I can't remember the last thing I heard any of them say about reality.
My favorite is her terrorism chant about Obama, relating to "terrorism" when he was eight years old.
Prepare to go back to the early sixties if they win.
You know, with the army spying on civilians, secret files and that's just some of what was actually exposed about people in the business of keeping things quiet.

Hell, with the patriot act maybe we're long past the point of no return anyway.

Funny she would brag about the u.s. government of the sixties.
It's like bragging about starting a war with planted information.
Again.

Back in the real world Addie Polk, a 90 year old woman being evicted from her home, shot herself twice.

McPalin say they are putting the economy behind them.
They are now past that.
They really think we're stupid enough to fall for it.
What if they're right?

U.S. Rep. Dennis Kucinich, D-Ohio, mentioned Polk on the House floor Friday during debate over the latest economic rescue proposal.

"This bill does nothing for the Addie Polks of the world," Kucinich said after telling her story. "This bill fails to address the fact that millions of homeowners are facing foreclosure, are facing the loss of their home. This bill will take care of Wall Street, and the market may go up for a few days, but democracy is going downhill."
