All right y'all, i need a new posse

Post by wwonka » Mon Nov 24, 2008 3:06 pm

I am a native portlander that decided to participate in some reverse californication.

I pulled up all the tent stakes, kissed all the ladies and bid all the children adieu.

And now I am here, in sunny san fransisco. Only thing is I left all my friends bundled up with the tent stakes, children and kisses.

I am looking for a way to incorporate myself into the san fransisco way of life, and I'd be happy to take any advice (be it well reasoned financial advice, good hang outs, parental advisory stickers, or offers for CEO positions at well established firms with comfortable salaries and benefit packages.)

A few. oddly enough and quite bychance I am a chocolatier's assistant now.. no matter what experience you have in this economy..right?

But I've been told that in a recession the three things people still buy are 1.Liquor, 2. Cigarettes, and 3. Chocolate.

I can only assume this poll didn't include controlled substances...

Hmmm, I used to be stationed just north of Frisco and I can't say I ever remember seeing much sun there, especially this time of the year

I also think that incorporating oneself into the sf way of life involves surgery. Does your hmo cover experimental procedures? :)
Plus, there aren't any burners there anymore, they all moved to Portland.
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.
