How is Thanksgiving like Burning Man?

Post by DragginLady » Thu Nov 27, 2008 8:06 am

As my apple pie is baking and the turkey is resting before being roasted (poor baby), I am perusing the forum...
and it hits me that the way I feel today~~~happy, open, gving, and surrounded by family is exactly how I feel when I go home to the Playa each year.
In that spirit, I wish all of you, my computer community, the very best that life has to offer us....
When we raise our glasses and have a toast to life later today, in my heart I will be most thankful for Burning Man and all it has brought to me. Thank you all.

Wonderful sentiments! Burning Man is like our extended famly and we never get to be together with them for the holiday.
I am reminded every year of Burning Man since my wife's turkey tastes like playa dust! mmm!
HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!

I had a dream of a mirror, a skull and a candle.
We're all going to join the turkey.
Enjoy your days.

My kitchen on Thanksgiving day is like the playa in that everything gets burned.
