burned 2002 2003 2004 in my gigantic powder blue schoolbus driven down from washington state hooking up with friends and family from states and countries beyond. we had good times and we had hard times and we all still burn to burn. the last few years we took steps back and burned in our different ways, but we are gathering again. my bus retired herself to a nice hippie compound with a permanent solar shower and walls still softly dusted with playa that lull any occupant into fitfully beautiful dreams, though it is sad to think of burning without our bus, we all are redirecting the funds/energy it took to get her down to BRC to bring renewable interactive persuits to the playa. I live in Palm Springs these days, loving coachella as a constant reminder of the bigger community and basking in the heat waiting for the fall and the initiation of one of my oldest friends who has been a burner at heart without knowing what it was and is now ready to bring it to the body. . countin down the days till the playa hits my feet..
