Brother Dan making a triumphant return (GREETINGS FROM SLC)

Post by BrotherDan » Mon Jun 01, 2009 4:41 pm

Hey all,

After a harrowing/amazing/terrifying/destructive/perfect virgin year in 08 I have finally made the leap and bought my ticket for this year! It took about 7 months for the post playa pathos to work itself out, but now I am hard at work with a glue gun to get my pretty little Huffy properly prepped.

It's looking like i'll be slinging ice so I'm sure I will see many of you with playa temperature cocktails in hand. Not sure where i'll be camped, but look for the pirate yurt and I won't be far.

Are you going to the Utah regional, Element 11, in June? And there's a Utah village planned for Burning Man, although I am not staying there myself. Oh yeah, I'm in Ogden.

Hot glue melts in the playa heat, test it out before hitting the playa.

I was considering Element 11, but outside forces (work) may be conspiring to keep me in town. And I was actually camped next to a dozen or so Salt Lake/Ogden burners last year but didn't realize it until Saturday. Too much wandering and not enough meet and greet with the neighbors :D I'll keep an eye out for the village this year, would love to see some familiar faces.

And the glue seemed to do okay last year, but I will give it a few trial runs down south beforehand.

There's so many Utahns out there it is scary.

My bits and pieces fell off my treasure chest in the sun. Make of that what you will.

I have to go to E-11, I'm an institution.

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
