Dear burner friend needs help....

A good friend of ours needs financial assistance in an extremely tough time. Long time Burner, LampLighter, Temple Builder, outdoor enthusiast, carpenter and all around great guy Brandon Chamblee is scheduled for surgery this week to remove a brain tumor. Following surgery, Brandon has another long round of chemotherapy in his future. This is a very difficult time for Brandon, his wife Hale and all of us who love him.

This is the second such surgery in as many months. Since the first surgery, Brandon has been on some meds that make it difficult to work in his field of carpentry. Being self employed, Brandon's entire business has to come to an extended stop with every treatment. Clients may be understanding, but simply cannot wait. This stream of income is drastically reduced. Brandon's wife, Hale, as many of you know was very involved with Black Rock Arts Foundation (BRAF) for a number of years before finding love and chasing the dream of a life in the mountains of Colorado. So that they could both have careers that would allow them flexibility to pursue their dreams and interests, Hale became a Realtor in Colorado. Anyone need a vacation home in the Rocky Mountain state? Real estate has been slow and again, income reduced. Added to the dual reduction in incomes: doctor visits, radiology, medicine, hospital stays, long trips to Denver, chemotherapy and on and on.

Together we can make a huge difference in the lives of two people in need of some help along the way.
