Burning Man Virgin - From South America to Burningman

Hi there,

I´m super excited for Burningman, but I´m not really sure on what to expect. I´m reasonably unprepared right now (I´ve been traveling for the past 2 months in South America and am still there), and was expecting my friend to get stuff together for me while I was gone. But he´s bailed on burningman this year, so now I´ve got just a few days to figure everything out! I need a ride from LA or the SF area, shelter, and food. Think it´s possible to get all that together in about a week? Any recommendations on the way to go?

get a tent and a shade structure
Figure out what you eat and what you eat that keeps and buy it.
Get on tribe.net and on the rideshare board here. Also try craigslist.
