South Africa on the playa!

Post by mikey » Fri Aug 21, 2009 7:19 pm

Ok...looking to hear that sweet accent again. Been gone from home (SA) a long time now, and when I've run into Saffas on the playa before, it's been awesome.

Are there any of you coming this year?? Hit me up and let me know where you're camping so we can share biltong and dry wors.

No, but I have a rare metabolic condition most commonly found among descendants of the Boers.

Plus, I accidentally pronounce parmesan Par-meh-Zon sometimes because a South African friend of mine.

Does that help?

I'll bring two jars of this cow jam stuff, or whatever it is, to make you feel at home.

Or would these be good playa gifts?

The United Kingdom football fans love this salty beefy liquid type bullion on cold wintery game days within the stadiums.

I think the Boors especially liked Chevril, made from horsemeat.

You can get Campbell's beef gravy for much less and mix it in hot water. If you like a thinner type just get beef broth. I like hot roast beef open faced sandwiches with the gravy.
