storage of camo net?
this is my third year time using camo net on the playa and I love the stuff, it's so easy to use. Just thought I'd ask how other people store and transport it? i usually stuff all mine in garbage bags, all full of playa, and then squish into the top of my always over loaded van. The firs year I used giant vacuum seal bags to get the bulk down, and that worked great, but the playa destroyed the bags, and they became useless for further use. anyone got any tips? or tricks to make handling the stuff a little less bulky, and maybe a little more convenient?

We use big air crew bags. Not unbulky, but tough. Squishy when packed in a trailer.

Fold em flat, then roll em up and garbage bag em... Seems to be the best way.
I still don't understand how playa eats through peoples bags. Though I believe we have changed garbage bags from year to year. Garbage bags get trashed very easily anyways.
Maybe try one of those nylon GP storage bags. Or a military cotton canvas bag. Those things last for days...

The most important thing is washing them before you go, and again immediately after. When purchasing net's, avoid anything that isn't soft.
There are allot of net's out there that are 'crunchy' and they will almost
double the size of your storage. Hexagon's fit very well in the 55 gallon
'contractor' bags, and diamonds fit easily into your standard 33 gallon bags.
If you fold the next as shown in the FM, you'll encounter all sorts of problems (snag's, under-folding eta.) It much easier to start at one end, and feed them into the bag. When you remove them for washing/repair they come out, and lay out much better.
I know, as months are spent cleaning and repairing 14,750.00 SQ. FT every year.
