20' to 50' Dome with outer Ring

For a new theme camp, we need a 20' to 50' Dome with outer Ring enclave of about 10' thick that sourounds the dome. Anyone have something like this, or know of the best plans, best ideas for this, or best place to get this?

The new theme camp is officially called the Circles Theater - Open Mike Sign Up - for small acoustical performances of whatever with circle stages and circle visual theme and philosophy.

I'd be glad to share what dome-knowledge I have, but don't understand what you mean by a "10' thick enclave".......Check the "Structures" thread for ideas on domes as well.

Thanks for the offer. The 10' enclave is a ring around the dome, but it is not as high as the dome. It is really another ring structure attached to the dome. Seen anything like it?

What is the largest dome you built? Do you have any good stories of what to do and what not to do? I can make the frame, but need to know the best materials to use for the cover. Any suggestions?

In your domes, do you use 6-way, 5-way and 4-way connectors, or do you use poles that were flattened on each end with a hole?
