Desk top inventory - What's on yours?

I was just looking at my desk in the den and was surprised at what an eclectic collection of items on it.

One framed picture of my wife and I
One paperweight with a picture of my wife and I walking on a beach
Three rubber frogs
My wallet
Glass of milk (just ate lunch)
One stuffed dinosaur
One large Bubble wand
Two CD’s of Burning Man pictures
Three beer coasters – Murphy’s Irish Stout, Heineken and Ichthyosaur IPA Great Basin Brewery
One gold doubloon
One rubber bat with a sticker on the back that says “Abandoned Mines Are For Bats Not peopleâ€

Wrought iron candlestick, votive candle holder with tea candle burning. A large coffee mug with my name Charles and a picture of a 1937 Cord on it. An open can of Pepsi. A bottle of tequila with a foam cozy with a baseball theme "homerun" and number 1 on it. Shotglass on top like a hat. 2 Medication flats and pill cutter. Jar of double stuff cookies. Container of mixed nuts, half a stick of saltines. A box of Kleenex. A christmas light with 3 leds, red,green and flashing white. Two wooden model ships, a sloop and a bark. A nerf football. Computer moniter, speakers, mouse and keyboard, tower. Assorted magnets and knick-knacks on tower. 13 movie cd's (3 xxx rated). Empty bud vase. Vintage photo of great-great grandmother when she was 16 and in rag curls.( I think I told the story of her and her sisters hiding in the smokehouse when the bushwackers raided the farm after the Civil War.) A jar of keys. One of sunflower seeds. One of snack crackers. One with emergency meds. A video camera, microphone, earphones. A small bottle of glitter paint. Mail. I have a ton of various stuff in the 4 drawers. I didn't realize I had such a variety of snacks at hand...

Copy of Cluster's Zuckerzeit- you got hear that one. 2 Calculators, magnify glass, 2 pieces of chalcedony I found on the beach. 2 video lenses, metal powder horn, bronze sculpture of a ram(I am an Aries), Box of Southworth Resume Paper, Old Fitzgerald decanter, Last years tax papers, Lots of mini dv's I need to go through again, ashtray and a beer, picture of my friends daughter, 2 photos of my folks, WWI 75mm shell printed with Victory 1918 cut and used as an ashtray - paperweight, computer and laptop, Mad TV script, piece of Wenge Wood, headphones and a bag of misc. camera stuff.

I rarely use the PC, so the business side of the desk is awash in old programs on CD, music CDs, scrap paper, my address book, handcuff keys, a container of paper clips, a paper punch, a pencil sharpener, a basket with misc. cards and papers, speakers and software manuals for old programs.

The top of the rolltop desk faces two ways, business nook and sitting area; I use it as a room divider. Facing me would be three Egyptian gods, small glass Buddhas,six framed pictures of family including one of Larry and I with the Rising Sons in Japan. The other side is a porcelain monkey pedestal topped with a draping plant, Larry's Navy retirement shadowbox with folded flag, a turtle lamp, three pieces of native pottery, two small glass urns, a large metal urn with silk grass and a pieces of blown glass given to me when the artist was dismantling the Gates of Heaven on the playa and a Man-shaped tuning fork, a small cast resin raven, a gold candlestick with one of Larry's candles, a tall chrome candle stick with a frosted glass tulip cup and hanging bead spider, and a plate holder with a square frosted glass plate with a Burning Woman figure from 2005. And a small Persian carpet under it all.

The file cabinet next to the desk has the dollhouse on top.

I'm doing this from memory because I'm using my laptop in bed just now.

Oh dear.....starting from titwi's side moving over to my side.....
A printer/scanner,rolled up posters, important mail(all on top of p/s). DRV's, scanner radio hand held,work notes, his work lap top, bunch of wire spaghetti, the house/work phone, speakers, his flat screen monitor for home pc, stamps and another pile of important bills post-it note holder with crap on top.Address stamper from Mister jellyfish,box of asst. colored paperclips,empty stapler, a space shuttle,all the pink slips to our fleet of working and non-working trucks/trailers, rv's etc...2 dead contracted cells phones a playa fied digital camera, the checks from my cancelled Banck account, more pens/pencils, scotch tape dispenser(empty) disposable tape dispenser waiting to be gutted to go on tape dispenser, Ink,my grandbabies socks she forgot, a pair of red and rhinestone eyeglasses,fabric paint=color gold,a gold rimmed shot glass, old pic of my former German Sheppard(one side and my tongue piercing pic other side), 2010 calendar, pilot program
(large piles of useless crap/bills coupons crap)pc speaker, flat screen monitor, speaker more pilot program stuff in between bookcase and my side of desk, and a big lipped dinosaur toy, dried flowers behind the monitor....

...and a half eaten sticky candy cane!
