I am going to Bm for the first time by myself (woman) . I live in Portland but will be camping close to Sisters and Bend at Camp Sherman the weekend of BM, leaving Sun am to drive down. Anyone else going Sun am who wants to caravan or give me tips on the best route, grocery store to go to etc? I am a woman going by myself hauling a small trailer so want to make sure I am dialed. Can research, not a prob but thought I would ask the experts

Bend Burner
Hi, I'm a female who lives in Bend, Oregon. I've been to Burning Man twice before and loved it! I will be leaving early also and I'm looking to meeting up with other Bend or Oregon burners.

Burning from Medford
WOW! I'm glad to finally see some other Oregoian's. We have a group of six of us so far coming from the Medford area. Since this is our Virgin Burn,we are a bit intimidated by it all. I'm taking the "One thing a Day" to heart. well maybe one thing a week. My wife has finally been bitten and is working on our gifting strategy. We're really looking forward to meeting new people and having a great week. I'm not sure if anyone else has this problem, but it sure is hard concentrating at work when all you can think about is 200+ days away!

hi Winebuff,
I like the idea of the caravan. This will be my first time attending. Hope to see you there.

This thread is from March 2010! That caravan has left and returned already.

Re: Anyone from Bend, Oregon?
Hey kids.
We hooked up a big container for water (215 gallons), and a small trailer to pull it however, we're having a hard time figuring out how to pull it down there. If anyone is leaving from or going through Bend, OR and has a truck with a hitch we could really use some help getting it to BRC.
We can pitch in for gas and you won't need to worry about water
Must have 1-7/8" or, 2" hitch ball (2,000 lbs. minimum)
You could probably stash some stuff in it too, the water only takes up less than half the trailer.
hope someone can help!
