LRB,

I tried the hi and low res and they both stalled at about the 1/3 download level.

What's up?

What is your modem speed? It may be you're too slow or there are just to many trying to download it. Do you have the latest Quicktime?

Cable modem. High speed. I am starting to think the problem is too many hits on the download server. I will try again later.

It's not too bad if you turn the sound off.

Insert where neccesary....

Post by Last Real Burner » Sun Apr 25, 2004 10:43 am

Yeah the audio compressor I use for otherstuff made it sound tinny and crackally. I am doing experiments with different ones for this particular situation. Any suggustions?

I think I used IMA 4:1 (which sucks for talking head stuff) and now that I think about it it was compressed twice, once on the output of Final Cut and again in Media Cleaner. May need to cut that down by one. Thanks for the feedback CG.

you can always try remixing through "Cubease" or "Protools"

Also, are you going to add any music or other effects with editing on the video side?

What are your plans with this project?

Hey Thanks, Nothat1,

I really need to redo it and make the sound better. I was really focusing on the the file size down and the compressor that I used really sucked. sounds like a great project for this weekend.

recurringly,
mr smith
