A big hello from NZ
This wil be my first burn and would be grateful for some advice as to how much fuel to bring for fire clubs (plus some extra for others etc)?
I usually use kerosene but have noticed that white spirit appears to be the one that fits in with BM philisophy.
Will i be tarred and featherd for using kero?
any help much appreciated and cyas there.

Fire juggling -how much fuel to bring?
The amount is totally up to you. Can't answer that without knowing how much fuel your clubs take per soak, three clubs, five clubs etc.
I had a pair of big poi that took ~ half gallon each soak a few years back.
Fuel type is also up to you. Kero is alright but it is smokey when burned and downright stinks. I personally never spin with it cuz it makes my lungs wheeze.
Why not try all three popular ones, kero, white gas, ultra pure paraffin.

I'd say take whatever you're comfortable with. The playa is a bad time to be trying things out. You'll have a lot going on.

The best way to figure out how much to bring is imagine lighting whenever you want as many times as you want for as many days as you're there. And people will always ask to dip in your bucket or can. White gas lights quicker, burns more pretty and goes out quicker. Fuel type is really up to you. I perform in doors a lot in front of severely fickle audiences. So the less smoke the better. And anything over seven and a half minutes and you've reached the limit of audience attention. So white gas is best for me. I usually go through seven cans of white gas. But I use a lot of different props and share!
Is anything ever really alright?
