Greetings Burners. This year, the BRC Department of Mobility will once again be providing transportation and adaptive support for individuals with physical disabilities. This is the second official Burn for the DOM Camp and last year was a huge success. The camp will be located at 7:00 Center Camp. If you or anyone you know has a disability, stop by and the DOM will hook you up with some wheels.

Wheels? Absolutely. The camp always has motorized mutant wheelchairs that can be checked out for an hour. The camp will also give Burners with physical limitations rides in their golf carts. This is a great way to get around the Playa and truly experience the Burn.

I use a wheelchair, and was very happy with the services the DOM provided last year. I'll be back this year, helping out with camp and taking their hot rods out for a spin.

Again, swing on by. Especially if you have or know of anyone with mobility limitations. And even if you don't, we'd love for everyone to visit and see how the Dept. of Mobility is helping Burners with Disabilities go Mobile!
