Someone scalped my ticket !?

Hard to believe, but a friend of a friend who promised to hold on to a ticket for me decided to sell it for someone offering 300. Anyone able to lift my spirits a little?

This is my first burn, for what it means...

If he did pay for it, which is what I first thought, couldn't he file charges?

Step 1. Get the money from the soon to be ex-friend.
Step 2. Don a gorilla suit, a pink tu-tu, clown shoes and a Nixon mask.
Step 3. Wrap a rubber chicken around a length of lead pipe.
Step 3. Beat the offending person half to death with said rubber chicken.
Step 4. Pour a fifth of Jack Daniels over the victim when finished.
Step 5. Buy a new ticket.

I've had this scenario:
January:
Person 1: Yeah, man I have to work, since you have the day off, could you go online and get me a ticket too?
Person 2: sure, pay me as soon as you can.

June, six months later:
P2: hey man, you going? I really need the money, I've been buying loads of stuff.
P1: for sure I'm going.

August 14: P2: Only two weeks left.. you coming through with the money?
August 20 (one week to go): P1: Fucker scalped my ticket!!!!

could happen.
