Burners in New York Magazine

Post by madmatt » Wed May 12, 2004 1:30 pm

I was magically drawn to the photo on the cover of the newest issue of New York Magazine, a shot of a guy wearing a glittery cowboy hat wrapped in an American flag. Sho nuff, turns out he's "Johnny America" and is featured together with Reverend Billy's Stop Shopping Church in an article about them dang hippies protesting the Republican National Convention.

A photo inside of Mr. America reads "he was born of the dust and ash of Burning Man."

I salute you sir.
