Darkwads!

Just thought it would be fun/ny to find out how many people had darkwad accidents this year! (I know, I have a twisted sense of humor)

I have lights and head lamps, and I still had a darkwad step into my bicycle and sent us both flying!! Fortunately no one was hurt. 3 years on the playa and only one personal darkwad incident. not bad!

I had one. This floozy was dressed like she stepped out of a 1793 French boutique without any lights on her at all and I damn near ran her over. If it hadn't been for the lights at the airport she would have been road kill. Sadly I didn't get a picture.

How about set up a evening get togeather.. Sit around with megaphones and belittle darkwads.. Could even have prewritten scripe to read off..

Get a searchlight, and it won't matter if they're lit up or not.

Funny....sounds like a few years ago a few of the guys from our Laf'ers camp would arm themselves with glowies and blinkies and called themselves the PLO.....Personal Lighting Officers and they would pull people over for not being lit, harass them and then give them something to light up with.

my girlfriend one "distorted" night saw what appeared to be a ________ (something of interest at the time), and walked right up to about 10ft away from it before realizing it was actually 2 darktards makng out on the playa.

five bucks says they probably got biked over sooner or later

I guess I was a little surprised by how many times I would yell, "Get a light" or something like that, to be told, "Fuck you!".

Remember, darktards often are a philosophical and intellectual bunch...

Worth mentioning the couple under the tan blanket on the dark playa that nearly got hit by the art car.

They didn't seem too happy to be lit up so suddenly.
But alive.
