Hi, I'm an american that lives in the netherlands, I'm suprised there aren't more dutch people on here, since the netherlands is one of the most drug liberal countries in the world...

Um. If burningman is simply a d'rug fest, then why would the Dutch feel the need to go?

Actually, d'rugs are a bad idea for various reasons, ranging from DEA and other federal law enforcement agents (although most of the people who are caught are the ones who behave in very stupid manners) to the desert is so different, and so hard on the body that throwing in another stressor is contra-indicated. And you (and anyone from the Lowlands reading this), I'd advise, don't bring anything across the border.

I wasn't saying that burning man was a drug fest, I was just saying that I would expect more dutch people to be interested/going to burning man :?
