Chilled before BurnT

Post by cosmo_guffa » Tue Feb 15, 2011 11:40 am

Hey folks,

I've never been to Burning Man before, but I recently attended my first Burningman Decompression party hosted by the Toronto crew in my region (I live in a neighbouring town, Peterborough, ON). They commissioned me to make a series of my "Cosmic SpaceCrafts" that I thought you folks might like to check out. There a little slideshow I put together of some of them, featured with some commentary on my blog http://cosmic-spacecrafts.blogspot.com ("The Playful Geometer" is my artistic alias). The event was called Cold Compress, so I decided a "Fire and Ice" theme was in order.

I welcome your feedback about my craft. I'm really hoping to bring some pieces out to the playa eventually...it might not happen this year, but my presence there seems to be an inevitability.

Burning with creative passion,
~Cosmo

Really Nice stuff... Welcome to the other side ...Eplaya.....

Your " hexahedron (cube)" would be a great raver trap... 8) 8)

Make a large print with that and set it deep Playa with glow paint and they will circle it like flies to a light bulb... Add a strobe light also and you'll get the Hippies........

But really, Nice stuff.. I only wish I had a 1/10 of your talent... 8) 8) 8)
I was Born OK the 1st Time....

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
