Now waitaminnit. You said musicians, but then you listed Bodhranists.Ludo wrote:Calling all Fiddlers, Pipers, Bodhranists, singers and dancers!
I'll bring my mando by, like I do every year.
Any notion of putting out a tunelist, so we'll all know at least a few of the same tunes?

Little Jack, That reminds me of the Bodhranist who walked into a bar, then remembered he'd forgotten to lock his car, with the bodhran inside. He ran back as fast as he could. But when he got there, there were 2 more bodhrans in the back seat! Ba-dum-dum!
But seriously, folks, that's a grand idea! Please post the names of tunes you know and would like to play. I'll assemble them, and post them here, and on TheDustySwan.com. If you have links to scores and/or lyrics, that would help too.

yay! I only heard about it second hand last year, ran and grabbed my pipes and caught the end of it, glad I did it was a great time and folks were really digging it. It sure was hot and humid in there, but it had the perverse affect of actually making the reeds in the pipes happy at least! Glad you are hosting again this year, I will definitely bring my pipes again this year!
Hurray, huzza for the craic house!

Celtic Singers Unite!
If there are any other singers out there that would like to tackle the Fiddle and the Drum with me I'd be honnored!
Regardless, I'd love to show up and sing a song or two!

That which does not kill you makes you stranger.
