Filmmaker looking Art perf with Apple for a doc-film

Hi everybody,

I prepare a documentary film for the French German cultural TV channel Arte, which deals with Apple. The film, directed by Sylvain Bergere, 52 minutes long, will discuss the brand, its fans, the enthusiasm and also, the criticism that it provokes all around the world. The film will be broadcasted in France and Germany in 2011, and in other countries thereafter.

I was thinking to come to film at Burning Man. So I am looking for people, who would use its Apple device during the festival to make something creative. If you, or somebody who you know, is the person who I am looking for, please contact me at

It might be a good place to get positive and dissenting viewpoints.

If burningman will let you film for this purpose, someone is probably using a laptop to control something out there.

Lets see, many DJ's use Macs and a few use iPads to mix remotely. iPhones are on the playa as music devices and cameras.

I'm a big Apple fan, however Burning Man isn't about commercialism. You should focus on the event and not the technology brands that are out there. I'm sure you can find other events that are not brand sensitive like BM. If you go to BM just experience the event.
