First time arriving Thursday 1 Sept

This is my big USA adventure (from Sydney Australia). I am doing a few courses and cant fly out from NYC until Thurs morn. 1 Sept. I would love to communicate with someone who has done it all before about practical stuff - I need to leave baggage somewhere as I fly back to Sydney on Tues 6 Sept. Will I need to leave stuff in NYC....need help.
Also how to connect with queer and or/ faerie communities?

Usually the queer ghetto is around 7:30 and C, though this changes from year to year. Look in the event book for Comfort and Joy or Celestial Bodies, or Mudskipper Cafe to name a few. Once you find one, someone will direct you to others.
