Need travel buddies from North Florida to BRC!

Post by Incindental » Sun Jun 26, 2011 2:16 pm

Hi everyone. This will be my first burn and will be traveling out of North Florida, hopefully not by myself. Sharing a ride would allow me to bring a lot more supplies than flying into RNO with just my backpack, which I have NO problem doing. So pm me if you're interested in a road trip!

Hi! Make sure you learn the required reading to lessen your risk of croaking under the hot desert sun or freezing after the sun goes down:

(Printing the 16 pages is easier than making sure you click on all the links--then again, we are probably only days from the new 2011 guide, so maybe read this one and print the new one.)

http://rideshare.burningman.com will update to 2011 soon.

Riding is a lot easier than flying, supplies-wise, 'tis true. However, if there is anything you try to schlep on a plane before landing, make it your comfortable boots/protective shoes, & a good pair of goggles. :) You've gotta be happy with them, so bring them from home!

Hey Incindental!
We've seen a few new folks from Florida pop up lately. You should check out some of the other introduction threads, and find more folks from near you.

Seems like there must be something in the water down in Florida thats bringing all sorts of Virgins out of the wood work.

Link up with some folks and maybe even create your own camp!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Have questions? Read this first: http://www.burningman.com/first_timers/
Everybody on eplaya is always excited to help first timers; but in sympathy for some of us old timers, please get your required reading out of the way before posting. As hard as it is to rein in the the excitement and enthusiasm, and as unbelievable as it might seem, most of your questions have already been asked and answered, if you just take a moment to read.

Now, let the adventure begin!

Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
