Hey there folks, how is everyone doing? My name is Chw, or Chwdog... which ever floats your boat. I help run the Dirty Southern Burners down here in the South. I hold monthly meet n greets here in the Atlanta area, usually for about half the year - outside of festival season. I am one of the founding members of Transformus, the SouthEast Regional Burn. In 04 my we did our first event and it was my first burn ever! Talk about an experience. Anyway, dove straight into the regional scene at that point and started organizing MnG's as well as SantaCon's and such in various cities in the SE. I still do event organizing and try to keep the MnG's going here in Atlanta to keep the community building and staying in touch and meeting new people!

This is my first year at Burning Man. I have worked on 2 projects that I was supposed to join out on the Playa but I never seemed to be able working out getting out there. Its quite a distance away from NV!!! I have attended almost all the East coast burns, but have yet to make it out past this coast yet. So really looking forward to the experience and I have been learning and reading getting ready for years for this. We are actually doin a few virgin MnG's between now and then to bring in some vets to show us some camping tricks and such on getting setup. I am camping w/ A.S.S Camp. Its Charlie Smith's camp for support artists working with us on the Fire Birds of the Fifth Direction, C.O.R.E. Project. I am excited to be a part of this amazing project and help build it myself along w/ our community. Charlie Smith holds community workshops to help teach those interested metalworking skills, its pretty cool. Check out the project at www.howhowhow.com .
