Need art car design suggestions

The top and back have been removed from my '93 Prizm and a seriously over-built frame is welded inside. We were ready to start building the shell. My campmates are suddenly not happy with the origional creature design but can't give me anything solid to replace it with.

It would be nice to have some loose association with this year's theme, but on the other hand I want it to still look cool in subsequent years. I also want to be able to drive the thing on the road, so I don't want to extend the car too far up or to the sides.

We're running out of time to finish the pre-registration and of course, the car.

Any ideas? Something that hasn't been done a dozen times already, that would cover the origional car completely without making it too big?
