Hello from Montreal - Electro Reiki Master

Post by Elixirplaya » Wed Jul 20, 2011 7:22 pm

Hi all!

I just received my super cool ticket and am looking forward to it!!!

I'm a virgin coming from Montreal. I bring with me a keen sense of electronic music, the healing hands of a reiki master and a good photographic eye. I admit to being pretty photosensitive, so I was disappointed to find out I was too late to rent an RV at any reasonable price. Alas! I will make the best of it and am looking forward to meeting you all. I will, by the way, be giving an intro workshop to reiki at Sacred Spaces Village - so keep your eye out for it!

Hey there, welcome to eplaya!

Have questions? Read this first: http://www.burningman.com/first_timers/
Everybody on eplaya is always excited to help first timers; but in sympathy for some of us old timers, please get your required reading out of the way before posting. As hard as it is to rein in the the excitement and enthusiasm, and as unbelievable as it might seem, most of your questions have already been asked and answered, if you just take a moment to read.

Now, let the adventure begin!

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me

Hi Elixir! Consider a "UV Umbrella" (Amazon has them). That and some broad spectrum sunscreen, obviously. :)

If you ever need to feel better about not getting an RV, google "house rules for RV eplaya" and you'll see how much work is involved with being happy in an RV with a group. The vehicles have wonderful pluses, but they take a lot of strategy, too. By the time I am willing to spend the money I don't know if I will have the patience. :D
