Scientology
I seem to recall that the scientologists planned to come to Burning Man and recruit. Might have been in 2009. There was a bunch of chatter about it and I think it ruffled the org a bit as they tried to decide what limits to employ on the camp. Did it happen? Are they coming this year?

A friend who is ex-Scientology knew I was going in 2009 and asked me to check if they were there. They were a placed camp and had listed their camp name as "The Modern Religon" (not as "Scientology") and were supposed to be just off one of the plazas. I biked over to take a look on the Friday before the Burn but their camp was NOT there - I believe they simply no-showed.
