Ride from Reno airport to Playa

We keep hearing about a regular Bus from airport to Playa, but can't find. One person, arrives mon night. Can pay for gas, but somewhat concerned about my wife riding with a total stranger to the Playa. Hate for tue night to roll around and no wife! Anyone know anything about this bus we keep hearing about? Would feel better on a public bus. Thanks in advance for any help! Her camP will already be set up and all her stuff on Playa...

Buses were cancelled due to not having the appropriate permits. Try the ride share forum, and be selective with who you choose.. try to get to know them first as much possible and do your own homework. YMMV

Thanks. 2d Burn and don't wanna be a nervous wreck hoping my wife makes it safely and doesn't get jacked or stranded. Her original ride had to back out of this years burn and sell their tix. We knew them.

It will come together.. it always does. Make some friends around the board and you never know.. one may offer. I would, but I've got a two seater box truck and a friend with me already.

No public bus, but a rideshare board linked below (best choice), and if worse comes to worse, usually a rideshare desk in the airport on the first floor near the baggage carousel. I believe the desk is informal and staffed by hard-working volunteers.

So many people are coming in on Monday night that it shouldn't be too difficult, especially since she hasn't got a lot of stuff.

ya.been looking on ride share for a couple of weeks and no luck yet. She is actually just bringing herself. Nothing else. Will already b on Playa. Lucky girl. As long as she can get a ride.prob better to ride with a group.

Air Playa Info @ the Reno Airport is a volunteer staffed, couple of tables set up near baggage claim. If she just hangs around talking to the folks working for 0-30 minutes, she will almost certainly find someone heading to the playa that looks/seems safe. Have her use her spidey-sense.
As a several time ride share provider I can tell you that "Just bringing self and nothing else" is music to my ears.
