Have sno kones, will travel

Part of my gifting for the playa is providing sno kones to theme camps to support their parties, meet and greets etc. All I need is access to a genny, ice (i get 3 kones per pound of cubed ice), a clean table and one or two reliable helpers who take food safety seriously. I'll bring the commercial sno kone machine, the health permit, syrup, kones and all the equipment needed to pass a health inspection. If you have a meet and greet, party, or just want to have some random ice cold goodness let me know via a PM. I am scheduling a number of camp visits and currently have Thursday and Saturday times and dates open. Best wishes - see you on the playa!

We were going to bring our handcrank to the meet n greet, but we don't have the health permit, we usually just do it in camp.

AntiM - I always get the permit just to be safe (don't want to get shut down because I am serving food to the public without a permit). I also do it to let people who are receiving my sno kones know that I am taking their safety seriously. It may only be ice and sugar but you can still manage to make people sick if you get the food contaminated. That's not the gift I wish to give.

I am amazed that - aside from my fellow Terminal City citizens reminding me about the eplaya M&G - not a single camp has taken me up on my offer. Sno kones go over big every time I set up shop. I thought I would get swamped with camps that would want a visit. Where (dare I ask) did I go so wrong?

oooohhhhhh - I forgot the Barenjaeger sno kones. Must add to list. They were gooooooood. I was going to get some bubblegum flavored vodka and mix it in with the bubble syrup.

For flavored vodka, I recommend Pinnacle's Whipped. MMMMMM so good!

Especially delicious w/ orange flavor a la Creamcicle.

Also delicious with Cherry flavor. Think Stuart's Cherries 'n' Cream flavored soda.

Hi, just read this for the first time! I love the idea! We'd love to have you set up at our theme camp. We'll be at A/6:30 with a 3-story tower. Wow, what a view AND a sno kone! Nice. Maybe even set up the sno kones on the second level, with a view!

If you'd like to set up with us for an afternoon, or more...let me know. We also have a food permit and serve root beer floats during the afternoons and I'm going to be serving up bacon quesadillas some mornings. Might be nice to offer people a choice.

Tentative Mallet Sno Kone Schedule:

THURSDAY: (1pm-5pm) Anniversary and 6:30 (to be confirmed with Galaxo Magic)
THURSDAY: (6pm - ?) Barbie Death Camp – eplaya meet and greet – at 3:30 and E (to be confirmed)

FRIDAY Late morning /early afternoon OPEN (prefer a camp on west side of city)
FRIDAY: (3 ish pm– 4 ish pm) Suspended Animation at 7:30 and D
FRIDAY: (4 ish pm– 6 ish pm) Light Box at 9 O’Clock Plaza

SATURDAY: Late morning /early afternoon OPEN
SATURDAY: (2pm – 4pm) Mudskipper at 7 and G (to be confirmed with jkisha)

Still have a couple times open. Keep the offers coming.

Dadara - are you planning anything for Saturday morning / early afternoon? I will gladly accept zero bills for my sno kones. We can have people 'earn" nothing bills by performing random acts of stupidity, playa de-mooping, whatever. They can then exchange those bills for icy-cold refreshment. Let me know the place and I will be there.

Also - I received some of your bills in the mail the other day. They are even more stunning in person. The color and detail is brilliant. Everyone I have shown them to agrees with me. Well done Sir!

I am happy to hear that you like the banknotes. We put a lot of effort into them and I think the details printed in silver really are the icing on the cake.
And after all this money is real. You can hold it in your hand and feel it and admire it as opposed to dollars and euros, which hardly exist anymore and are mostly just (disappearing) digits on our computer screen.....

Unfortunately shipping companies still don't understand that our money is more real, so they request 'real' dollars, that's why I am going to hijack your thread for a few seconds to post our fundraising campaign:
