Need a Ride from San Francisco to Burning Man

Post by johnfly » Sat Aug 13, 2011 12:09 pm

My friend and I are looking for a ride to BM on August 29 from SF. We do not need a ride back. We are both easy going, we are travelling light and we will chip in for gas. Does anyone in the ares have any available space?

Also, are there any other bulletins purposed for ride sharing? I found a couple but they all appear to be inactive.

Thanks a lot!

Try

http://rideshare.burningman.com

Note: If that doesn't work, there's a Rideshare desk at the Reno airport, 1st floor near the baggage carousel. It's informal and volunteer-run, and apparently works quite well. It starts Friday before Gates open and runs through Friday of Burn weekend. If you get stuck without a ride, get yer ass to Reno, if you dare. It'll probably work out. :)

 If you wanna help out big with the Gas, I'm driving a BIG vehicle the Saturday before the event, so you'd have to get early entry. :?:

I made a post on there but it looks pretty inactive. We may have to get to Reno and use the rideshare there, but that is our very last resort.
