The iced coffee at the Center Camp Cafe has got to be some of the best I have ever tasted - anyone know what it was and how it was made?

It probably tasted better because you were at BM, didn't have access to decent coffee, let alone iced, and have a sweet tooth.

I have no idea how it is made, but you can make some decent iced sweet coffee by adding some condensed sweetened milk to dark roast coffee, grinding it up with ice, and then pouring it over ice. Omit the grinding if you just want liquids. Spray some canned whipped cream to make it look nice.

Ingredient tips:

Best brand of condensed sweetened milk: Borden's Eagle Brand. The worst: Meadow Gold.
Suitable Coffee: Dark roast coffee. Coffees containing chicory are also very nice, such as Vietnamese coffee from an oriental store (Trung Nguyen, Cafe du Monde), but you need to use one of those drippers because the coffee needs a slow, looong drip to be good.
Ice: Buy ice so that it doesn't have refrigerator taste

You'll remember this post if you ever get a mouth full of that awful Meadow Gold condensed sweetened milk, or their equally terrible evaporated milk (Carnation brand is the best for that)! It's so damn vile!

I have only had CC coffee - once - and that was gifted to me. I also got a gift cert for one this year, which is going on my wall of schwag. Somehow, the thought of buying coffee out there is, um, not in line with my BRC ethos... I mean, I understand Ice, but Coffee? For criminey sakes, make your own, and get involved rather than doing the Starfucks Default thing! (Tho the art in CC is progressively getting much better than years past, I gotta give them that!)

Terminal City had it good. Espresso Camp supplied TC and visitors with close to 1000 shots of top quality naked espresso.

I know I would have loved some HOT chai, once the sun was down a couple hours, but I never went over to see if it was actually still open. Is CC open late for hot coffee or chai?

BRC Farmers market had some one morning and I swear it was the best thing I've ever tasted. MmMMMmmMmmmMmm.

Me and the Mr. Went back ti camp and brewed up some nice hot tea. It's great to know we could warm up while we are out though. I'll also keep a dusty eye out for the farmers market.
